About Me:: Dinosaur toes is the creative lovechild of Danielle, the human (that's me), and Flojo, the parrot with dinosaur toes who happens to think she's a human, too!

From the time I was about 10, I've been selling my creations, with the help of my little brother. We'd make everything from (ugly) paintings to tomahawks (his idea) to walking sticks (again, his idea). Now, 16 years later, I think I've graduated from hideous creations that only the old neighborhood ladies liked to more sophisticated, but still fun, jewelry and bags.

My taste changes regularly, but one thing that will remain constant in every dinosaur toes creation is the use of vintage and found materials. I believe that using objects that were once loved by another gives my items a sense of nobility and history that the new, mass produced items will never have.

As for Miss Dinosaur Toes herself, she may not help make the items, but she's with me every step of the way. It's uncommon to see one of us without the other, and that's just the way we like it!

to the festival....maybe???

While I'm not new to the world of selling online, I am a virgin to the festival/fair world. I've been doing my research and, to my surprise, there are literally TONS and TONS of events within 100 miles of my town...I had no idea. Hi....
