The Confessions of Max Tivoli is a book that I just finished. If you're looking for a good book, it is masterfully written with an engaging and very interesting story line.

Living in New England, you might as well get used to ticks. Especially in the spring and fall. When we lived in the country we'd find ticks on our clothes occasionally, in our house occasionally, and on our bodies occasionally. Our oldest son came down with Lyme disease in 2005. Half of his face was paralyzed with a red stripe down it - very weird and scary. Now that I've got your attention, I'll issue my caveat. I know these two roles aren't mutually exclusive, but I see a lot of indie designers that lean heavily in one way or the other.
The "businessperson" finds one or two unique ideas/product lines that sell well and appeal to a lot of people. Then they do slight variations on that theme. Their shops have a consistent look and feel and you can recognize their work. These crafters and artisans do very, very well building their businesse…
