Location:: Beautiful Pacific NW

About Me:: Hi, I'm Beth! I live in the beautiful Pacific NW with my wonderful husband and my sassy persian cat Charlemagne. I am an avid spinner of fiber/sparkles/magical plants and bobbles of all kinds. I love to hand-paint my various spinning fibers in shades of bright vividness, and also hues of deep-forest-mysteriousness, depending on my mood. I am also an aspiring midwife/doula when I am not spending my time at the wheel, dyepot, and/or spindle.
My other arty ventures include knitting, crochet, mosaic art/glass art, needle felting, funky embroidery/crewel, etc. Trail running and hiking are my outdoor passions.
I hope to one day have a little plot of land to call my own where a few chickens, Shetland sheep, and some fat and fluffy English Angora rabbits can frolic...Add some vats of dye and my spinning dreams would be complete!

Limited Edition Mulled Wine Handspun

I love mulled wine...it's a drink I only get once a year around the holidays. This yarn was inspired by this warm and spicy cup of cheer. Hand-dyed the deepest maroon, burgundy, and eggplant, this local blend of soft, fine wool and a little bit of mohair will warm you up and keep you cozy.

Heart Halo

Once upon a time I spun up some gorgeous mohair and blue-faced leicester yarn and named it Heartbreaker becuse it was dyed a deep red and was soft and cozy enough to warm even the coldest hearts. But I couldn't resist. I had to knit it into a scrumptious, snuggly scarf.

Craft fairs and such

Getting ready for the last round of summer craft fairs, spinning up a storm the stuff that I dyed a couple weeks ago. Well, one more fair actually. A fiber art fest at 6th street gallery in Vancouver, WA. I'm selling 2 of my favorite yarns of the moment at the fest. But I'm tempted to keep them for myself. "Gypsy Glam" and "Antique Rustic."
