i just made my first bit of money from my blog. $.76. lol

i've tried to keep away from advertising because it interferes with the clean look of my site. but i spend so much time hunting down shiny stuff, i figure i ought to at least think about it.

i want to frame my first $.76 but since it's electronic, i'll have to imaginarily frame the imaginary money. :-D

so at the encouragement of the button making bunch here, i bought myself a button making machine and i LOVE it. it's so easy to use, and fast, and it's a perfect outlet for my short attention span artwork! LOVE it! seriously. i'm talking LOVE.

i can has blu seeling?

i've received many raised eyebrows when i mention my plan to paint the ceiling blue. it's funny how people get totally mired in norms that they don't even understand the real reason behind. when paint was expensive in colors other than white, it would make sense to paint your ceiling white. since that's not really the case anymore, people need to rethink that norm, as well as all the other outdated notions of what's acceptable in design. meanwhile, i'm going to have a pretty blue ceiling.

I've got 8 pieces of art left to fill the pockets on my shower curtain! Yay! And of course I have to do the easy part, which is painting the bathroom walls and ceiling and replacing all the hardware. Oh and finish painting the three blank canvases which are sitting in my pantry to keep them away from the cats. (It was a convenient place to put them. *Shrug*)

And then I can finish spiffing up the house and make appetizers and find presents for hubby's birthday and maybe make a flying V…
