I just seem to have slacked off a bit from posting here! This is mainly because I've been a wee bit busy with so many other things, that it's hard to keep up on all of them at once!
I've done a TON of shows this year, starting back in October. I think I had five or six holiday shows, and there were three weeks in a row when I had a show, so that definitely kept me busy. Luckily, my last one for the year was this past Saturday, so I'm actually enjoying a tiny bit of free time now. Not m…

So I've been working sort of sporadically on making Christmas cards over the past few weeks. Last night, I went really crazy with it, and made a portion of about 20 cards, two of which I actually finished. :) I've settled on a fairly simple design for the ones that are identifiably "Christmas" cards. Since I did the Seattle Punk Rock Flea Market on Saturday, I decided that I would need to take a lot of stuff that would appeal to punks. So I spent the better part of last week working on bottle cap belts.
These are fairly simple affairs. I punch holes in a bottle cap with an awl-like tool, and find thrift store belts that either have well-spaced grommets…

So I've gotta ask. Am I the only person who loves switching around my featured items in my shop, and thus switching up my Etsy Mini? I think I must change it at least twice a week. :)
What's more interesting for me is that I have the top three in my shop, and then a 2x2 Etsy Mini at Shop Etsy and a 2x4 here. So when I'm setting mine up, I have to think about how they will look in each of those configurations.
The real question, I think,…
