When the soul
wishes to experience something,
she throws an image
of the experience before her
and enters into her own image.
~ Meister Eckart
I love playing with collage, mixed media, collecting images and words to weave together to create something new and magickal.
I am also a lover of all things Vintage, Victorian and Gothic and collect jewellery, figurines, stories, fairy tales and weave these themes throughout my artworks...
AAAaaah... so much inspiration and so little time!
"... The divine has such passionate creativity and instinct for the fully inhabited life. If you allow yourself to be the person that you are, then everything will come into rhythm. If you live the life you love, you will receive shelter and blessings. Sometimes the great famine of blessing in and around us derives from the fact that we are not living the life we love, rather we are living the life that is expected of us. We have fallen out of rhythm with the secret signature and light of our own nature."

Hi Liz,
Thanks for your comments! I find kewpies pretty irresistable! Also those quaint "Frozen Charlotte", "Flapper" and "Betty Boop" style bisque dolls of the 1920's and 1930's.
For me it's usually all about the facial expressions!
You can often find some great examples for sale on ebay.
What kind of dolls do you collect? What are your faves?

Greetings! I saw you on Halloween Art Guild ~ I am sure it can be challenging celebrating Halloween in the Southern Hemisphere.
I like your collages. I found many of them very intriguing.
