- I love to make things. Crocheted skater beanies are the staple - they are a bit redundant, but add quite a bit to the winter budget. Bottle cap magnets & pendants, pincushions, messenger bags are much more fun and an expression of creativity. I was just accepted into the Georgia State accelrated nursing program. I start in January with the goal of surgical nursing and eventually RN First Assistant. Born and raised in Northern CA, I now live with my husband and 2 big dogs in Lilburn, GA - 15 minutes north of ATL.

ICE Show

Acceptance
Today is all about acceptance. Last night I received notice I was accepted to the ICE holiday on Nov. 17. Very excited. This will be my 3rd Indie Craft Experience show and I am looking forward to it. Check out the show
In other news I got the mail today and I was accepted to the Accelerated Nursing Program at Georgia State University. Out of over 300 applicants they only take 72 students per semester (combined accelerated and traditional track)…

Isn't is weird how sometimes things are just easier than they seem? I was minding my merry business going about my daily etsy goal & listing something new, something with blue. . . Well actually they are green, but whose counting. But between photo upload 2 & 3 my thumbnails turn into fuzz city. ICE Application Photo
I've done two quite successful craft shows with the Indie Craft Experience (ICE) of Atlanta. For their holiday show this year they are accepting only one photo, I do so many different crafts I was a bit worried - what do I pick to showcase my work & guarantee myself a spot? I figured it out - here is my application photo - I made all by myself, I am quite proud of my achievement this evening!
