About Me:: Hi, everyone, I am excited to be a part of this pool of creative people.
Just to tell you a little bit about my art world - I have always been encouraged in the art world by my mom. She is a very talented artist and portrait painter. As long as I can remember she has painted every single day - still does, and she encouraged me to do the same. We painted together in the summers when we would go on adventures to new locations, but I had to make a living so I went into advertising. I have been a designer for over 20 years now. But I am trying to make more time to paint these days. It is rewarding to me that my daughter is very talented and has an incredible eye for design. She is a senior in high school and has already had 3 festival shows with her photography. (you can view her work at http://taylorrr.etsy.com )
I have a new found passion for wheel-thrown pottery - it was such a thrill to drink out of my first thrown mug. : ) and look forward to making many more pieces to share with others.
I gather so much inspiration from all the creative people out there on etsy and indie public. Thank you.

Blue Skies and Earl Grey

I love, on cool, fall Sunday afternoon, to sit on my deck with a hot cup of Earl Grey and read a book. The birds and hopping in the leaves and the squirrels are storing nuts, the sun is warm and the breeze is cool.

A little bit of Autumn color arrived today
