Perfect Wave from JLife

Like me, my hippie daughter is not one to fuss with her hair. (She barely remembers to brush it.) However, unlike me, she has very (very!) thick curly hair. Last night she used a bit of JLife's "Perfect Wave" on her towel-dried locks and woke up this morning to ...

The Serenata Pullover from tokidoki is available at Karmaloop and is now officially on my holiday wish list!

Thrifting and Vintage

The high point of my week: a belted chocolate-brown leather jacket for only $8! This jacket along with a few other "vintage finds" inspired me to take a look and see what my fellow fashion bloggers are doing with their vintage shops. Retro Chick celebrates her first anniversary this week. Check out her blog to ...

Annie Briggs - Designer

Annie Briggs has a created a style that reminds me of my old Betsy Johnson patterns. With the peblum waist and the funky color combinations, her one-of-a-kind jackets and skirts are amazing.  The jacket shown above is a featured item in the AnnieBriggs Etsy Shop. Here's what she has to say: Cupid arrives early ...

Trip to Target

I had to run out to Target tonight to get two baby gifts and a watering can... and I'm so happy. Not because of anything I bought, but because (out of the blue) my dear cashier (whom I never saw before) told me she liked my bag. I told her I made it and the sweet girl asked me if I made… Continue

Beautiful Short Jacket from Malam

Every weekend I try to post a bit about my favorite Etsy designers (mostly clothing). I found a fantastic jacket from Malam. Love the goblin hood! Any designers out there who'd like to be featured, please contact me.

Steampunk to Gothic Lolita

Whew. It seems like fifteen minutes but it's been over two hours that I sat down to write my daily blog post. I started out searching for Victorian fashion and steampunk style and ended up back with Japanese Street fashion, the designer Mana, and Elegant Gothic Lolita fashion. Whew. If you have a minute hop on over to http://www.allchic.com and read. I added some interesting links for more exploration.

Fun with Flickr

I just meant to be there for ten minutes because I'm in the middle of folding about six loads of laundry, but I ended up spending over an hour on Flickr. I set up a new account for myself and posted some photos, but then I took a little tour of Europe flicking through photos of Paris and Prague.

Check out today's featured sellers - Moop and Wildewear - at http://www.allchic.com. Thank you and have a great weekend!

I wanted to let you know about my SALE...Mother's Day is just around the corner. A locket is not merely a piece of jewelry, but an heirloom, a keepsake, and a constant reminder of your loved ones. Last year, my siblings and I gave my mom a locket necklace and put photos of us inside. It is very sentimental to her and will likely be passed onto generations to come. Since then, I started collecting vintage lockets and rework them into one-of-a-kind necklaces. Check out my store: www.vintagerehab.etsy.com! I hope you find the perfect Mother's Day gift.
Handmade with love,
Stacey
