I'm in a love/hate relationship with cotton yarn. I love the way it looks and feels in a finished project. I haven't tested it out on anything big yet, but all of my smaller projects have this really sturdy feeling that I don't get with the acrylics. It makes me feel like they're gonna last a little longer than my other stuff, because I wear my stuff OUT pretty easily. I just got a yarn sampler from ebay the other day, and last night, I tried to make a cell phone carrier for my sister out of some of it, and it was HARD! I guess one of the things about cheap yarn (yes, I am addicted to RED HEART super savers) that is awesome is that they are so easy to work with. gah... I'm terrible. I spend so much time glued to this damn computer at work, that I never go online when I'm at home! Therefor, I have yet to download a picture yet! I did put up a few pictures from photobucket of the kind of silly stuff I do. I enjoy playing with yarn, but boy oh boy, do I have alot of work to do- and alot to learn. *sigh* perhaps some day, I shall be good at this crafty do it yourself stuff. until then... happy yarning!
