The New Hub of Main Ink

Holy WOW, Batman. I stumbled across Pink Crow Studio while cruising Etsy this weekend. Carrie, Pink Crow's owner, is a Chicago based jeweler who hasn't any clue that I am nuts for her work. Two New Original Paintings!

Check out these paintings Nate did this weekend! Heavy Heart/Light Heart is a painting that can be hung on the wall either vertically or horizontally. Ooooohhh, niccceeeee!

Check out this awesomeness. This was a commissioned piece that Nate has been working on for a while. He just finished it a few minutes ago, and I ran in there with my camera to catch him adding his signature, but he was too fast. So here he is with the finished piece which is off to New Jersey tomorrow, and getting stashed under the Christmas tree for a very lucky guy!

Favorite Designers/Artists:: Ack! Etsy makes it impossible to have a favorite. I change my mind daily.

Favorite Music/Musicians:: Currently listening to alot of Brandi Carlile, LOVE HER, and Johnny Cash. I also have a total thing for Dwight Yoakum's MUSIC. Not the tight jeans. I like all sorts of music, as long as it doesn't give me a headache. Kenny G 's music actually physically hurts me. If you ever want to torture me, like seriously ruin me, just lock me in a room with Kenny G's music. I'll be dead by morning, so ask all the important questions first.

Favorite TV Show & Movies:: More of a Book & Movie girl. Just finished Count of Monte Christo recently (book) for the second time, and I love that book. I'm also a Harry Potter fan, loved the final installment. I love love love the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings trilogy, books and movies both. Roman Holiday is probably one of my all time favorite movies. It would really be ridiculous if I actually got into my real list of favorite books and movies. Nobody wants to read a list that long!

Two blogs is too many.

Okay, I will have to think of something good fun easy to put here on this blog. I am seriously considering making this the place to share the out of control plans for world domination that Brandi and I have been discussing via email. You might enjoy knowing who will be your leaders soon, and pick a place to live.... Should I post it? I fear that our sense of humor could be offensive to some...bad idea? good idea? please tell me what to do, if anything with this blog! thanks!

I wish I was a computer geek.

I think I'm mentally challenged. I am having a really hard time getting this indiepublic thing to behave for me. Plus, all those ads on the right are like cluttering my mind and stuff. Does anyone know how/where I can add my EtsyMini here? I don't get it.
