About Me:: I am a stay at home mom with two wonderful boys Triston 11 and Kyle 9 and my just as wonderful husband Albert. When I am not being Mom I create tiles. I did not go to college for art and have never taken any kind of art or ceramic class so I guess you can call me self taught. There is a wonderful tile store here in Tucson that inspired me to start making tiles so I did and here I am. My dinning table is my work space so sometimes eating on it can be a challenge. All my designs start on paper, then are transfered to clay, cut out, left to dry, painted (underglaze), fired, clear glazed and fired a final time. I think the thing I love most about making tiles is everytime I open the kiln, no matter how many times I have done it, seeing the finished tiles is like opening a present.....you never know what you may get.

(Designers only) I create:: Handmade, handpainted mosaic tiles. I love anything bright and whimsical and do my best to show this through my work.

I am frantically getting ready for a show for this coming weekend. I will not be able to start anything new until next week, but I would love to make an angel especially for you
