About Me:

Aloha and Howdy to All! I am a gal originally from Hawai'i who has made her way across the mainland to good ol' Nashville. My family consists of a wonderful hubby, a beautiful baby girl, and a lovable german shepherd. The love for arts and crafts started early for me. Both my grandparents are artists: my grandmother, a portrait artist and doll maker; my grandfather, an ornamental blacksmith and sculptor. They both encouraged my sister and I to imagine, to create, to dream. For nearly 10 years, I have worked in the arts and crafts industry for 2 major craft supply retailers. Now, I am wanting to pursue more artistic endeavors of my own by actually creating rather than just selling the supplies to create. I also am an aspiring photographer. I love, LOVE photography. I also LOVE typography. Having worked in a craft store, I have dabbled in just about everything! Newest craft I want to tackle is felting. Perhaps soon I will be able to post some things I have created here to share with all of you. But until then, I shall admire the talents of all these amazing folks here!

Currently reading: The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, by Mary Ann Shaffer & Annie Barrows. I am loving a lot of the new authors coming out. Some of my favorite reads: An Irish Country Doctor, The Notebook, Persuasion, Girl with the Pearl Earring, The Joy Luck Club, to name just a few.
