I've been designing and creating semi-precious gemstone and sterling silver wirework jewelry for four years, and chainmaille jewelry for around three.

I dig combat boots, sushi, animals, alternative and progressive rock, Thai and Indian food, anime and manga, Nicktoons and all sorts of other geeky things. :D

Super Show Yesterday!

The last time I went to this particular show two years ago, I did the best I've ever done.

Though I didn't do quite as well yesterday, I still had a GREAT day! We were under two magnolia trees so we almost froze all day, but the traffic was great and I sold a ton.

Many people complimented me on my talent and I unloaded lots of business cards, too.

My next event is a tiny gathering at a local coffee shop...it's free, I don't have to lug tables and my tent and it's only… Continue

Must WORK!!!

I seriously need to poke myself with a stick until motivation finds me and I actually sit down and create something.

I need fresh pieces in my shop on on my tables!

Tonight's plan: take pictures before the glorious (my, it's the perfect temperature here today, and so pretty, too!) sun goes down, create at LEAST two pieces of funk-ay wearableness, rent movie (has Deathproof come out on DVD yet? And why aren't they releasing it with Planet Terror? Buttheads...), c…

Immune System on Strike

Yak. The weather changes, and, predictably, I get sick.

Today's my second day home from work (which I can't really afford, ya' know?) but I think I'll be going tomorrow. Unless for some reason I relapse, but I'm feeling a bit better.

Lots of hot coffee with Irish cream made by my SO has helped, as well as all the kitty therapy I've been getting. They're just too cute!!!

Now, to motivate myself to go to the post office. It's such a grey, dismal day out.…

Upcoming Shows

Gearing up for the holiday shopping season and the winding down of summer!

I've got two show dates coming up. I try not to do more than one per month, especially during the slower months, ya' know?

On the agenda:

September 8th-Farmer's Market @ Chateau Morrisette Meadows of Dan, VA

October 13th-Radford Highlanders Festival @ Radford University Radford, VA

I'm still looking for shows in November and December without much luck.

First Post, RUN!!!

Hey, everyone! I'm Abbi, Lunachick from Etsy.

I'm excited to be here and a part of this community. I can't wait to get to know everyone here and share what I do with new people.

That's it for now. I'm at home and under the weather today, so I'll add something interesting when I'm not feeling quite as icky.

I've always been fascinated by stones and their powerful qualities. And now you've made them even more beautiful. Excellent work. Honestly though, it was your clever name that drew me in :)
