Did you ever see a dog permanently chained to a dog house? Ever drive by daily and see it there in all sort of weather? Ever wonder if it's ever been off it's chain or if it's been fed recently?
If this is an issue that upsets you then you're not alone! The organization www.dogsdeservebetter.org is devoted to this cause! I was browsing the Sunday paper and I came across an article about them and their Valentine campaign. I have since joined the organization, pledged to promote it and am giving…

I didn't realize it was you! I know we've had this conversation already but for some reason I forgot - DUH! Anyhow you didn't elaborate that much last time, so it was interesting to read your response.
Thanks for the boys clothes line encouragement. I will most likely use elastic because, don't tell anyone, I'm terrible at zippers! LOL. But I'm glad to hear that kids like the elastic anyhow. As far as a name goes, I like Little Man because I often call my son that....along with Mr Magoo (which most likely wouldn't work!). I was also thinking of London Boy....ah, we'll see!
Any other ideas for me, please shoot them over. I love suggestions!

the creative vibes cross the miles....
what about Little Man? just a thought...
I used to live in Strasburg, which is south of Ephrata. My husband used to work for Science Press (changed to Mack Printing and now it is a Cadmus plant). I know the area well. I actually used to be a nursing instructor while we lived in the Lancaster area and I had students at the nursing home facilities around there. small world.
A note on the guys line....when Christopher was young, he hated zippered pants. Loved elastic waistbands which fit better with his "independence" and busy-ness.
good luck!!
I was on you web site just now and love the girliness of your style. Since you are from Ephrata, I have to ask if Donekers is still there. And, if so, have you taken your things there to sell? Also, I was wondering if you ever considered making little boy clothes? Cute outfits for boys are hard to find. At least when mine was young. I designed and made some for him.....but that was eons ago. Just a thought.

I used to live near Ephrata! We lived in Strasburg and was next door neighbor's to the engineer there at the time. Our son loved that.
My husband's last job with Nature Pub sent him to London quite a bit, so I have made a few British friends there and did like visiting. I have a few photo compositions on my web site that were taken in London.
Small world. Welcome to Indie!!
