still can't get no sleep........

these bloomin tablets are keeping me awake. I am sure I didn't have these side effects last time round. but I printed my first batch of baby tee's today and learned: I need a proper table asap I need on of those clamp things to hold the screen and stretch the t Katherine doesn't like the sound of a screen being washed with a pressure hose! But she did point to one of the screens and said 'key' (part of the design is an old victorian key). She's a clever lil chook. Tomorrow we are going to a… Continue

etsy listings

as of tonight I'll have 46 cushions listed. Am adding 2 per day so hoping that this will bring in the sales at some point in the not too distant future. have been thinking about signing up to do some 'craft' fairs too. I did enjoy th e2 I did over christmas and I made some good sales but it is so hard to find a genuinely good fair where you are not just competing with re sellers. I still have nightmares about the time I was next to a stall selling clocks in the shape of big ben and other londo… Continue

website updates done at last

finally managed to do this and send it to Jen. If you are looking for a fab website then she is your lady www.jhollywooddesigns.com and she's on indiepublic too! That's where I found her. I am so glad I did as I just wouldn't have had the time or skills to put together a website. I have also managed to screen print some tea towels which I am hoping to get into my etsy shop over the weekend. After finally getting broadband back I am managing to start to re stock the shop. I read recently on the… Continue

back online!

At last we have broadband! There's still a few hitches but at least I can get stocking my etsy shop. I was reading on the forums that one of the keys to etsy success is to have 80 - 100 items in your shop.... So I have decided to list all my vintage fabric cushions and to start listing the badges and eco shoppers. I have also decided to branch out into childrenswear as many people have commented that my screenprinted fabrics (that I am working on at college) would be great for fashion. So I ha… Continue

still no blooming broadband

apparently we have a fault on our line so we can't be connected! Well the phone is working fine so no idea what's going on. am using the internet at my sister's place to get my etsy shop updated and to buy a few silkscreens on ebay. Feel so out of touch and haven't been able to upload any pics of our new place to flickr or here. on the upside managed to print a couple of mini eco shoppers tonight with a daisy stencil and they look pretty good. Yay!
