Hello everyone! I am Karen, long time artistic person frequently too busy to do anything I enjoy...that is until a few years ago, when laid up I decided to teach myself beading. I love to work with semi-precious stones, silver and crystals. It takes me back to a time when I was younger and my dad had a rock tumbler in the basement.
I am getting things together so I can sell items on etsy. I am selling now by word of mouth and through a recent employee art show where I sold two beautiful necklaces.
A little of the personal stuff: I am a nurse, a 30+ yr vegetarian, and a animal rescuer. My horse is blind, but happy with me. She was literally pulled from the auction yard on her way to be a steak. Bird is a happy cockatiel rescue, then there are all the cats, and the six dogs. We all live on a 70 acre spread in the country. We are all happy and try to keep our karma good!
Thanks for the heads up. I have my eye on this show. The problem I have is that we will be attending a wedding in August in Spring Lake and not sure if I will be able to take time off both in July and August. It's still up in the air though. Always good to hear from you.
Just stopped by to see how you've been doing. I'm going to begin going over the list of shows you gave me 3 weeks ago sometime tomorrow after I get my last batch of shipments sent out.
Talk to you later,

Hi Karen:
Thank you for your pleasant compliment on my work. I'd love to attend the Ann Arbor show. I have not exhibited there before. I'll check it out on line and let you know what comes about.

I'm certainly interested in your observations of these shows, do tell.
I think you should exhibit as an artist.
What a fun venture with your father. What brand or brands of saws do the two of you carry?
Good stuff your way,
