ARY Designs & Finds has developed from the love of creating things while caring for the environment. Some of the fabrics I’ve used in my collections were destined for landfills, the rest I’ve sourced from local charity shops, freecycle communities in my area and specialist vintage fabric shops. All the fabrics I use are clean, in excellent condition and are cared for in a non smoking, pet free home.
My favorite pieces are born from my huge men’s tie collection; I literally collect men’s ties from wherever in the world I go. Many are from my home country New Zealand – the States and also Britain, where I live now. Vintage and retro ties in luscious silk fabrics are my favorite to work with, so you will see these often adorning my bags, purses and other original pieces.
