About Me:: I was raised with fabrics and fibers, embroidery and sewing, literally from before I could walk. My parents started a small fabric remnant store the year I was born - which grew to be the largest fabric store in northwestern New Jersey long before I became a teenager. Though my creative focus was more on writing and publishing, I can remember a time when the first colored and patterned papers made an appearance. No one was sure what to do with them, but a blank piece of paper was always an inspiration to me.

I am phasing out Woodsprite Cottage, which you may have seen here before, to LauraOh! Designs, in order to have everything in one place. My focus is on my handcrafted totebags, purses, pouches, and jewelry. I still do the art dolls, but it was time to return to sewing.
