I'm so excited to have gotten in on the ground floor at 1000markets! It was super easy to set up shop, only time will tell how it will grow and expand. I like the idea of organically grown "markets" of thematic sellers. Already there is talk of a handmade greeting card market, which I plan to be part of. My second East Nashville show! I'm excited to share my wares in public again. I had a lot of fun in March, and I'm hoping we have good weather again for this Sunday. I shared my space with Cecile (Hyena on Etsy), and we hope to share a space again together. It is SO nice to have someone to talk to over the course of the day. Yesterday was my birthday, and while having dinner with friends, we started to talk about a photo diary. My new goal for a year is to take a photo of something I see during the day, as well as some sort of self-portrait. We'll see if I can keep the promise to myself! This is only day 2, but I was inspired by the blooming spring flowers in my garden first thing this morning. I will try to periodically add my daily photos here. I'm looking forward to seeing a progression!

Last Sunday was my first time showing at the CRAFT fair in East nashville. We were super lucky with a sunny, 70+ degree day. Everyone was out with their dog and baby, which made for great entertainment and lots of people to talk to. This was the first fair of the season, so not everyone came prepared to buy, but I gave out a ton of business cards, which is my main reason for doing a craft show.
