My name is Jes. I'm 29 years old, married, and just moved to Chicago, where I am a full-time doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at the Adler School of Professional Psychology. My main area of interest is working with various at-risk populations, including: juvenile delinquents, youth exposed to trauma, and children of parents with mental illness. I also hold a dear place in my heart for working with performing artists, as I completed my BM at the Eastman School of Music and am more than vividly aware of the unique needs of that population.

My diverse hobbies have been my attempt to capture an insignificant glimpse of the infinite facets of life and energy. I am inspired by my seven siblings, nature, the internal processes of humans, and emotions. I am most concerned with exploiting the pieces of what makes up our personalities as human beings.

I should NOT have to be sexually harrassed!

I fucking hate nasty men. Why do they find it so necessary to make disgusting remarks to women who are simply trying to stay in shape? There is not one time I go for a run that I don't get hooted, hollered, or honked at. I can usually just blow it off, but today these two nasty nasty men found it necessary to pose themselves on either side of the sidewalk as I was about to run by and make disgusting remarks in Spanish. Hello, everyone! I'm psyched to be here at indiepublic. I'm a bit confused, though, about the dif between indiepublic and the 'we love etsy'. they seem to be connected, but not really.
