About Me:

After living in France for 1 year with my husband and 3 boys, my family encouraged me to give up my CPA practice and work on my art. I now have a Purple Studio behind our house which I use as a working studio.

Nature and recycling beautiful old items inspire me. That sounds wierd, but old wooden floors make great birdhouses and broken bottles make gorgeous fused earrings and bracelets and broken china can live a long time on a mosaic clock.... that is how I see the world. Look for my windshield fused trivets that look beautiful on a table for hot plates.

When I'm not hanging out with my wonderful husband and boys, I'm in the studio, in my garden or playing tennis with my great friends!! I hope that as time goes on I can add more pictures of my art and join more groups and take more time to blog. I love how artists think!

My art includes art for your home, body and garden. Fused glass, pottery and mosaics are my favorites. I enjoy designing rooms and accessories that give you a feel of being somewhere relaxing and a bit unique.

Most of my art uses recycled materials to some extent, but you'd never know it unless I told you. (and I will tell you!)
