About Me:: I am a fiber artist working with clean carded wool roving to create Waldorf inspired tapestries and dolls. My products are dry needle felted, wet felted or a combination of both. Most of my dolls are perfect for a nature table, puppet play, story telling and also as collectibles. The traditional Waldorf features allow for open ended play
My backround is in fine arts as a painter and partner in a gallery. I found after starting a family I needed a child friendly medium which brought me to wool,

Stupid mom tricks

You know that trick we all use where we wait for our kiddos to leave the nest for the day then we go in all ninja mom and clean their room? Well it backfired.

I set out to zen the 5 year olds lair with donation bags in hand. I came across some chestnuts that had been neglected for some time. I tossed them in the yard thinking they had long been forgotten.
