About Me:

I loooove to be outdoors so much of my work features nature, natural settings, colors and sites....whether it's the color of yarn for my needlework, the subject of my photographs, or the decor I paint on recycled and new clothing items...
As the mom of three active boys, all now officially teens as of this month, i've had lots of experiences that probably come into play in my designs and ideas....and as a stay at home mom after 20 plus years in the work world full time, I now have time to persue those long held dreams...
I also create for charities, including the MS and Arthritis Society, and sports activities through my youngest two sons.
Most importantly, these arts and crafts help fill in the hours on many days when my health issues keep me housebound, even flat in bed....and when out and about urges me to enjoy every second, to cherish what I have and NOT take it for granted....
I tend to reduce, reuse, and recycle, so some of my yarn and clothing items are treasures found at gently used clothing stores, while the rest purchased new.....but i'm always looking for a sale! Hey, it's a personal challenge, i'm afraid....lol...
