Went to the annual family summer get-together yesterday and BOYYYYY, am I still feeling the effects today! We generally rotate the location between my mother's, my place, and my sister's place. My older sister lives in upstate NY which takes forever to get to, no matter where you're coming from. I'm the farthest away since I live in south Jersey. It's a pretty good hike by car but by public transportation, it's TORTURE. Took me nearly 4 hours to get there and 5 to get back. I…

So here I am, slogging along at my mindnumbing, soul-sucking, joy-killing admin job while looking desperately for another one... while trying not to get fired from this one... and in the next few weeks, I have to:

Make merchandise for an upcoming show;
Finish making table skirts for my display tables;
Attend the family summer function;
Fix up my fixer-upper house;
CLEAN up my fixer-upper house;
Spend time with the Object of my Affection (he's SO patient)
