Well, I thought I would give an update as to how my year is progressing...

I have 19 beautiful children that I teach every single day. Not only am I teaching them how to read, and how to add, but I am also teaching them kindness, generosity, and respect for others and ourselves. It is the most challenging task I have ever taken on, but the daily hugs and love notes that I get make it ALL worthwhile!

Well, not really. ;) I want to thank those of you who commented and offered to donate to my school. Thank you! I already have boxes coming in from a Cragslist post, and the kindness of strangers still absolutely overwhelms me.
