Creativity is my passion. I love to create, whether designing jewelry, working yarn, creating crystal healing grids, sculpting, blending herbs and oils or cooking a meal. Aside from that I’m a philosophic, tree hugging dirt worshiping woman, wife, mom, grandma and homesteader. I’m anti-establishment, pro-environment, outspoken, a truth teller and non-conformist as well as a visionary, poet, artist, herbalist and healer.
My spouse and I have voluntarily stepped away from the greed and the speed of the American Dream and have returned to living a peaceful, more basic and natural lifestyle. I live as simply, naturally and artistically as I can in a 108 year old farm house in rural Ohio. I’ve learned that living close to the natural world is essential to my well being...I need to feel the earth beneath my feet and nature surrounding me.
Mornings often find me stumbling hurriedly from bed, fumbling to find pen and paper to write down dreams, poems or epiphanies before they are lost in wakefulness.
I love living in Ohio where the seasons change dramatically enough that I still become anxious for Springtime, excited when I see the first firefly in Summer, revel in the crispness of Autumn days filled with umber and amber and delight in the first snowflakes of Winter.
I love sitting on the porch watching summer storms move across the field, curling up with my cat-child Arther, the satisfaction of a days work well done, summer breezes through the bedroom window wafting across my body, music that touches my soul, movies that touch my heart, and anything that makes me laugh.
I love playing in the rain, singing loudly (despite protests), hugs, kisses and I love yous from my grandbabies (and they are grand!), intimate moments, time spent resting under the shade tree, the scent of lilacs and roses, fresh coffee brewing and bread baking .
I value honesty, integrity and authenticity in myself and others.
Gemstone jewelry, polymer clay sculptures that depict the human spirit, aromatherapy/vibrational mists and massage oils as well as other natural therapeutic products, organic herbal teas, crocheted items such as bags and purses, shawls and novelty items.
