About Me:: We are Brenda and DeLinda, two friends who decided to open up a shop. I, Brenda, am a mom to 5 children, all boys! Three teenagers and 7 year old twins. DeLinda is a mom to three boys. Together we make up Mom's Creations. We sew about anything. We specialize in children's clothing, but we also make adult clothing, blankets, the occasional quilt, preemie clothing and not to mention soap.

If you have never shopped for a pillowcase dress, the easiest way is to know the child's measurements. Figure out where you want the dress to come to (waist-yes, some wear them as a top- knee, mid calf). Measure from the shoulder to the length you want. Once you have that measurement, shopping is easy as all of our pillowcase dresses are listed by length in both centimeters and inches. Size is not crucial for fitting a pillowcase style dress. We make them from newborn up and they are selling quickly, so if you don't see a size or fabric you want, just drop us a line and we will see what we can do to accomodate you!

Sweet Corn

We somehow managed to husk, clean, cut, cook, shave off the cob, and bag for freezing 170 lbs of corn on Saturday and Sunday. That is to be split between the two families. We each got 17 bags that are 2.5 pounds each and 21 bags that are 2 pounds each plus one bag that is 1 pound. That is still not enough and I hope I can get some more. 3 kids in football, 4 games a week....

I haven't felt much like blogging! It has been extrememly busy trying to keep up with getting all the teenagers to the right games at the right time! The three of them play on four different teams. So that means we have at least 4 games a week. Right now I am trying to make all the home games as much as possible. Next week we start cubscouts and since I am a leader it means I will miss all the Monday games. I volunteer in the school too, but at least this year I am not doing that on Mondays.…

sharing my sons love of dragons

today my 3yr old son and i sat down and made a treasury that is all of his favorite dragons he thinks he needs them all lol for his birthday will have to see about that but i hope you love them as much as he does please have a look and leave a note he loves to see that his dragons have mail lol thanks for reading love D

Another new dress tonite!

I made another dress tonite. I have another after this one all cut and ready to sew. Hopefully that one will be done tomorrow. I am slowed down here lately as I have an 8 month old baby in the house and DeLinda just had surgery today. SO, I am plugging away but very slowly! Here is the pic of the dress:
