The shop here in Boulder where some of my jewelry is sold is having a "Meet the Artist" night. I will have some of my new creations on display as well as a simulated demonstration of my craft. The gallery director wanted an actual demo, but I didn't think it was such a good idea to light a 1500 degree torch in the middle of a crowded room. But fire attracts attention so it might not be a bad idea! Ha, ha, just kiddin'. Wish me luck!

This is my first blog ever, so watch out! I work as a part-time artist out of my home near Boulder, Colorado and today I've been hard at work at the torch. I make glass beads and pmc that is used to design one-of-a-kind jewelry that I sell in a local shop and on Etsy. I'm kinda new to the whole "striking out on my own business venture" thing.
