About Me:
Independant artist. I have a home studio in Dacula, GA. I spend full time doing what I enjoy most.....art & hanging out with my dog, Tess. I love, love, love pottery. I have always enjoyed buying pottery in areas that I traveled and became interested in painting it myself. I do some handbuiling with clay, casting ware myself, raku, and am currently learning to throw. I love working with various glazes combining them in ways that are so unpredictable. I find it very rewarding to teach others to use the glazes to create their own special pieces. Although many of my pieces are casted ware verses handthrown, they will always be a one of a kind because of the glazes and various touches I give each piece and I am not making them in mass quantities. I use the molds as a tool.

I equally enjoy the art of mosaics. Using glass, mixed media, clay pieces I make, and broken glass, glass from any one of my unsuccessful glass art projects, or ceramic/pottery dishes/pots. I find mosaics relaxing and very much like putting together a puzzle. And it is like unveiling a secret after the grout is cleaned off.....ewe - awe!
