Over Labor Day Weekend my family and I went back to southeast Iowa to visit family and friends. I went through a bit of a sewing withdrawal, but stayed busy. Yeah, it is only August (for a couple more days, anyway). But I love getting a jump on Christmas shopping. I love to shop, but I'm too stingy with money to buy a lot for myself. ... Come again some other day. This constant rain is really getting me down. And our grass is getting so long it is nearly unsightly, but it is never dry enough to cut. Not to mention the weather-related tragedies taking place in the region, like the three people killed by lightning in Madison, WI yesterday.
