About Me:: Hello all! I'm a married mom of one who has lived in the Bay Area all of my life. I was deep into art when I was in high school, but dropped it shorlty after. Then my son was born and I was inspired again! I've since found my artistic voice and couldn't be happier. I work full time, but am trying to make a bit of a career on selling my art. It's hard with a job and a family, but worth it!

Inspiration for "Dreaming of Darcy" series...

I began reading romance novels at a very early age (I know, romance novels...but they really are great and taught me so much about history!) , and then quickly migrated to Regency Romances. While I don't read the "bodice rippers" anymore, it did start a deep passion in me for the Regency era, and especially Jane Austen's novels.

My new painting series!

I'm completely stoked to be working on a new series of paintings called "Dreaming of Darcy"...they're lovely acrylic paintings of women in Regency style clothing, and they were inspired by my love of all things Jane Austen! So I have 2 already painted and in my Etsy shop. And at home I have 3 more ready to go! I'm really excited!

My problem now seems to be space...I don't have any type of a studio, and I'm basically painting on tv trays and propping all finished work on whatever availa…
