Bit by Bit

The key above is the one to my cellar and isn't it a gorgeous old key? It's large and solid and rusty and slightly skewed but it lies heavy in my hand and I thought it the perfect symbol for the beginning of a new life here in France. It has a sense of solidity and permanence and is, I hope, a good omen for the future.

56: Santa Claus

A bit of doodling as a procrastination measure ... to avoid having to clean house. Had far more fun doodling this instead :) I love procrastinating ...

55: Purple Garlic

A quick sketch. Have been a bit lacking in inspiration but needed the drawing therapy so picked up this garlic bulb and decided to just go for it. Took me a couple of hours and am feeling much better.
