Profile Information

Location:
South Carolina, US
About Me:
My name is Tina, and I've been making incense for the last seven years. I am very picky about what fragrances I use to make incense, because not all scents smell the same burning as they do on the stick. Typically I test about ten scents before I find one that smells great both lit and unlit.

As a result, I don't carry certain 'popular' fragrances right now. For instance, I've tried to find a good vanilla for seven years and I have yet to find one that meets my expectations. As a result I currently don't sell vanilla incense, because I refuse to carry an inferior product.

Don't despair, though! I am continuously testing, and when I find a scent that knocks my socks off and burns the way it should, it magically turns into dipped and dried incense within a week.

If you are interested in joining my nationwide team of product testers to help me find my next greatest scent, just contact me for details.

My newest blog post on IndiePromos.com

Cross Promotion (or "Why Shouting Into a Bullhorn Doesn't Work")

You've got a business: a great product, perfect presentation, and a website ready to take orders. Your next step is to get people to your site so they can learn about you and that fantastic product. Why not rent a bullhorn and spend a Saturday on a downtown street corner telling everyone

IndiePromos.com

I've taken the plunge and created a new site for indie artists who are looking to cross promote with one another. It's brand new, just released today!

http://www.IndiePromos.com

I started the site because I wanted somewhere I could specifically connect with cross-promotion partners. There are people on Etsy I'd like to approach, but I can't randomly convo them otherwise it's spam.

I'm also wanted…

I'm Releasing New Scents!

That's right: I've got new scents hitting the shop all week! These six scents all received the best reviews from my team of product testers. Big thanks to them for having such wonderful noses!

Because of low oil supplies, all new scents are currently only available in mini-sticks. I've got orders in for all of these oils, though, so I should be able to release these scents in regular sticks and cones within a few weeks.

IMakeCuteStuff, you'd be amazed how much grief I get sometimes about not carrying vanilla or other trendy scents!

Tias, I'm glad to see you're here too! =)
