About the Artist:
Mark Kett, the artist behind kett made., creates wooden spoons and utensils, serving both form and function. Inspired by the calling of fatherhood, wishing to use safe alternatives to plasticware with his son Yonah, Mark engineered several utensil forms for use in his home kitchen.
Mark's professional woodworking expertise lies as a noted Luthier, in the field of Guitar Making. Mark studied with the DeJonge School of Luthiere, completing a 3 yr apprenticeship and continued to serve as course instructor. Mark was proud to celebrate his 10th year as a Luthier in 2006.
Together with his Wife Colleen, Mark sends his wares out into the world from Scugog Ontario Canada, to spread a love of fine woods, craftsmanship and safe alternative to plasticware.
