About Me:

My name is Pam and I’m an art teacher and artist living in Chicago.

I absolutely love working with my students, but I have to admit I also love my summers off! Every year when that final bell rings it means I have time to create my own art pieces and share them.

All of my artistic inspiration stems from my happy childhood in the mid Ohio valley. I like recreating the quiet landscapes of my tiny hometown and the special pieces in my ever-expanding miniature collection which I started as a little girl. My passion is giving each object its moment in the spotlight.

So whether it’s a covered bridge, a lonely treescape, a cupcake, or even a smurfette figurine, I take joy in capturing every whimsical detail.

I learn something new from my students everyday, but my formal education began as an undergrad at Ohio University and continued with my MFA in Painting from the Pratt Institute in New York.

Whimsical paintings of miniatures, sweets treats, and quiet landscapes. Many of these pieces I photograph and make reproductions into pocket mirrors with custom felt pouches and notecards.
