SUCCESS!

We had a wonderfully successful weekend at the Ballston Market even though we had to sit up the booth in the middle of a monsoonal downpour. (My apologies to those people I scared with my frizzy wet hair and runny eye make-up.) Thanks to everyone who visited Bette's Bags booth. Thanks you for all of your nice comments about our quality workmanship and creativity. You made me so happy!

Busy Weekend!

Spent all day Saturday with Maggie (daughter and Bette's Bags partner) at the Cherry Blossom and Kite Festivals on the National Mall. No matter how many I see the blossoms I'm always in awe of their beauty. I'll post photos tomorrow. Sunday I spent the day sewing more bags in preparation for upcoming shows and markets. I get so excited this time of year. Spring means outside markets and craft shows. I love the crafters community.

It is a new online payment site that a lot more people are using now because it is totally free! No FEES!!!!!!
When someone pays you,you get all of your money! Works just like paypal but without the fees. AND they give you $25 for free just for signing up! I didn't want to tell others about it until I actually got my $25 in my bank account and started using it myself. But I have been using it and it is great! So I am spreading the word!
I am so sorry if this sounds or looks like spam. It is not meant to be at all!!! I really just want to tell you about a new way to except online payments without any fees.

Thanks so much for the advice! Brockway, PA is about 2 hours NE of Pittsburgh. I've been hearing from a lot of teachers & people from other states telling me they need teachers all the time. The only thing is I'm a small town person, lived here all my life and have a HUGE extended family on my mom AND dad's side. My fiance is the same way and both of our family's live pretty much right beside us or just a town or two away. Moving away just isn't our thing & he already has a great job here. Close family friends are principals (current & former) and teachers that work at the school I attended, so I have that on my side. If I don't get a job in a few years or so, I'll pick another job path I guess :o)
