Voy a brindar por ti silenciosamente
con este vaso rebozado de licor
y haré con este brindis que vuelvan a mi mente
las horas más felices de aquel frustrado amor.
Voy a hacer mi cerebro un loco torbellino
que gire alrededor de las horas aquellas
y envuelto en el vórtice del raudo remolino
me veré junto a ti contando las estrellas.
Así levantaremos la copa del encanto
y de un sólo sorbo beberemos los dos...
y enjugarán mis dedos la gota de tu llanto
y escuchará mi oido la nota de tu voz.
Navegaré en la nave silente del recuerdo
y vagaré por mundo de diversos ayeres...
naufragando en el licor donde me pierdo
buscando la que fuiste en la que ya no eres.
Levantaré la copa que ayer nos embriagara
y que guarda en su adentro soñadores arcanos
este fino cristal que reflejó tu cara
y que guarda las huellas de tus cálidas manos.
Levantaré mi mano... así... discretamente
y evocando el pasado en mi nostalgia loca
rebuscaré en el vaso afanosamente
la huella imaginaria de tu boca.
Quiero ver otra vez aquella alcoba hermosa...
aquel cofre divino quye encerró nuestro amor
y tus manos de seda...y tu cara de rosa
volver a acariciarla cual si fuera una flor.
Así... discretamente...levantaré mi vaso
y en la fina transparencia del licor...
veré claramente... hecho pedazos...
el horrible naufragio de mi amor.
