About Me:: Greetings!I hope you all enjoy my photography as much as I do! Photography is not something I ever thought about being passionate about, but over the years is has become very important to me. I do not believe in setting up a shot, or going out one day to take a specific picture. My belief is that the world is not set up with perfect lighting constantly so you shouldn't try to make it perfect-beauty is in the unexpected.

I am a/an:: Independent Artist/Designer, Supporter, Shopper, Independent Retailer

(Designers only) I create:: I'm not only interested in photography. I come from a large family full of crafty people, especially my great-grandmother. Knitting, crocheting, needle tatting and simple weaving are just a few of the things I can do. I love to make doilies, tablecloths, and sweaters and funky hats for little kids. Vintage/retro patterns are my favorite, and I love the challenge of re-creating an item from a picture.I am also a chocolatier and make sculptures out of chocolate. It is probably the best job a person can have. I love to make artisan chocolates out of natural and organic ingredients and I believe the simpler the ingredients the better the flavor. Right now I'm working for a small company but would love one day to branch out on my own.

Favorite Designers/Artists:: Honestly I have a lot!A couple of my favorite photographers are James Balog, and of course Art Sinsabaugh. However I also have this love for Sam Maloof, and Nakashima's furniture. Not only is their work beautiful I also admire what they brought to the arts and crafts movement in the U.S.

Favorite Music/Musicians:: I'm kind of a music junkie I listen to everything But my favorite kinds of music are classical and big band era music. Some of the music I like is Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, and Benny Goodman.
