About Me:

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Jamila Thomas is a jeweler currently residing in South Burlington, VT. Through her 25 years, she has been a student of fashion with a keen eye for what is right for her, stylistically, and she has not been afraid to set the trend. Jamilary, Jamila’s jewelry company, which launched on March 17, 2007 is a natural progression of that. Jamilary designs incorporate freshwater pearls, semiprecious stones, and natural materials acquired through her worldwide travels and the travels of her family.

In addition to being a jeweler, Jamila has also received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Yale University. She is currently a doctoral student at the University of Vermont in the clinical psychology program. Her research interests are psychopathy and forensic populations.
