Profile Information

Location:
Dayton, OH
About Me:
I was an art major in college, and graduated with an interest in bookbinding, which just fits, because I've always loved reading and the beauty of old books. Largely self-taught, I am always interested in learning new techniques and bindings. The book arts world is very inspiring to me! Exposed spine sewings are my favorite bookbinding technique, because the structure of the book is also part of the book's decoration. I love to use recycled materials in my books, and have recently been working along these lines. Currently, I am studying calligraphy, and look forward to incoporating text into my work in the future.

Welcome to Indie!!!

A bunch of us who sell on Etsy.com have already started excepting RME payments!

It is a new online payment site that a lot more people are using now because it is totally free! No FEES!!!!!!
When someone pays you,you get all of your money! Works just like paypal but without the fees. AND they give you $25 for free just for signing up! I didn't want to tell others about it until I actually got my $25 in my bank account and started using it myself. But I have been using it and it is great! So I am spreading the word!
I am so sorry if this sounds or looks like spam. It is not meant to be at all!!! I really just want to tell you about a new way to except online payments without any fees.

This is fantastic! I love old books too. I used to deal in First Editions and Antiquarian books, I find binding and printing history to be very fascinating. I am a "nerd for the written word".

Keep in touch!

Thank you so much for your supportive comment! It means a lot to us. The idea is yet to grow bigger if we really get to successfully pass on the message of working together. That's how it used to be. I appreciate you taking the time to read about us.

Uh, oh, I accidentally just lost a friend request! I accidentally blocked it, and now I can't find it anymore! It was "Amy," if you're reading this, try again, and I won't goof this time!
