So, this was my first show (participating on my own, anyway...I've been before as a side-kick) and to be honest I didn't really have many expectations.
Brown County, Indiana is a very arty town, so I wasn't expecting a craft show, but more of an art show environment, which it was. The people I talked to were nice - though there weren't many of the organizers who came into contact with the sellers. One when I arrived for set up, one to greet me at my booth location, and then one to ask if we wer…

Welcome to Indie!!!
A bunch of us who sell on Etsy.com have already started excepting RME payments!
It is a new online payment site that a lot more people are using now because it is totally free! No FEES!!!!!!
When someone pays you,you get all of your money! Works just like paypal but without the fees. AND they give you $25 for free just for signing up! I didn't want to tell others about it until I actually got my $25 in my bank account and started using it myself. But I have been using it and it is great! So I am spreading the word!
I am so sorry if this sounds or looks like spam. It is not meant to be at all!!! I really just want to tell you about a new way to except online payments without any fees.
PS...Here is my Etsy shop!

Second, I make so many kinds...cakey, chewy, fudgy, and those from mixes. Does this fuel the feeling?
I made a spice cake from a mix tonight w/extra cinnamon. Fab.
You dig Patsy?! Yes!!! I can sing a lot like her. I'm also into Bauhous from back in the day, and I have Gary Numan's real vinyl album!!
Have you ever listened to the Boswell Sisters? They were the musical ancestors of the Andrews Sisters, by about 15 years. I recommend them highly.
A more recent group you might know is Dead Can Dance. Have you ever heard their stuff? Very fun. I love the darker sounds form the 80s and 90s...Morrissey, Smiths, Cure, Depeche Mode. I live for the day that I can go out dancing at The Vogue on 80s night. No takers, yet, but I'll find one!
