Show Review - Brown County Spring Blossom Arts Festival
So, this was my first show (participating on my own, anyway...I've been before as a side-kick) and to be honest I didn't really have many expectations.
Brown County, Indiana is a very arty town, so I wasn't expecting a craft show, but more of an art show environment, which it was. Have you ever listened to the Boswell Sisters? They were the musical ancestors of the Andrews Sisters, by about 15 years. I recommend them highly.
A more recent group you might know is Dead Can Dance. Have you ever heard their stuff? Very fun. I love the darker sounds form the 80s and 90s...Morrissey, Smiths, Cure, Depeche Mode. I live for the day that I can go out dancing at The Vogue on 80s night. No takers, yet, but I'll find one!
