About Me:

I've felt the need make art since I was a child. I began taking classes in the teen program at The Chicago Art Institute and was awarded a degree from the University of Minnesota in studio art and art history.

My art is drawn from dreams, travel and reading. I find the process of making art simultaneously meditative and spontaneous: touch the paintbrush to silk and watch the color flow; move the images around the collage, draw in details, and the meaning becomes clearer. One piece inspires the next.
