I am so over cables

I got bored with bulky knits and cables, and decided that I should try improving my knitting skills by doing something I've never done before. So, I started on this lace scarf pattern. It's super easy, and I'm actually knitting from a chart, which is a first for me. The results so far:

Aches and Pains

My baby hats were a big hit with the in-laws and I'm happy to report that New Baby Girl is looking very adorable in some super soft hand-knitted hats.

I think I'm getting a repetitive motion injury from all the knitting. Or maybe I just fell too many times roller skating. I've just finished one half of a pair of legwarmers (not pictured) for a friend. They're fantastically red and cabled and include a draw… Continue

Wristies

What's my latest obsession? Wrist warmers:

I use the same basic pattern for each set, but I change the design a little everytime I make them. They're a really quick, easy, and fun gift. I'm on my third pair now, and I have yet to make any for myself!
