I am an artist and designer living in the UK. I have been interested in all aspects of art and creativity since childhood but began to actually practice art seriously when I purchased my first rapidograph pens. I am basically a pen and ink artist with a bit of watercolour added.
I also create cross-stitch, needlepoint and embroidery to my own designs and sometimes even produce a linocut or two. I am fascinated by all types of printmaking techniques particularly etching and linocuts.
I have an extensive art and design library and keep many scrapbooks full of inspirational material sourced from books, photographs, greetings cards, magazines etc, and if I am ever stuck for an idea I just need to take a peek and the problem is solved.
I am very keen on photography and have been a member of Flickr for several years. I use my photographs as inspiration for lots of artwork and particularly enjoy photographing natural subjects and animals.
My art style is a cross between whimsical and decorative, graphic illustration. My favourite subjects are the natural world, trees, figurative subjects and folk tales and myths.
I am blown away by the talented, artistic and creative people I come across on the internet and gain loads of inspiration from contact with them. I spend far too much time on Etsy...don't we all.

I so love what I do. Every day I go into my studio (well, 5 days a week) I love to get busy and create more, more, more! I like to look a life and living as a series of bright colors. I guess this is reflected in my work.
