Blogs are not my thing

Obviously blogs are not my thing. I never seem to have the time to post. When I do have time, I don't think of it. Does anyone actually read this? If you are reading this, let me know send me a note to sales@marknolldesigns.com Well, things are looking up. I have been getting orders from unusual places. I'll take anything I can get. Have had jewelry designers interested in pieces to use as well as display boxes. Have a great new line and will ge… Continue

Where does the time go?

I can't believe how fast time goes by when you are busy. It seems like yesterday, but it's been a couple of weeks since my last entry.

Have a new line of items and can't wait to get them photographed. I have a feeling that these will sell well. I sure hope so, nothing else seems to be selling. I just need to keep plodding along and I know that things will come together. I know my work is good, I just have to find the market for it.

Who thought that being self employed would be… Continue

Better late than never

Finally finished my Christmas cards. No hope that they will make it on time.

Work tomorrow, but only half day, then 3 days off. Yeah!!

Looking forward to Christmas Dinner. I'll always remember the Christmas dinners at my grandmother's home. ALL of the family, great food and LOTS of noise. I miss those days. No worries, the best part of childhood.

I hope everyone has a great Christmas.

I am looking forward to the New Year. I feel that it is going… Continue

Too much to do and too little time

I feel overwhelmed. Christmas, My business, Orders (good thing), projects at home.

Still haven't sent out Christmas Cards!!

I need longer days and more coffee!!

I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Why is it as we get older, that time goes by faster?

Hump Day

I am looking forward to Christmas, but really wish I could be with my family this year. I remember as a kid our whole family would gather at my grandmother's house. I am talking 50 or 60 people. It was great. It is what Christmas should be.

I am also thinking about all those young kids that out Pres has sent to Iraq. I know that they would like to be with their families. I think it is such a shame that they are over there when the whole situation has deteriorated to such a level that th… Continue

Hi Mark,
I have an Epilog Helix 45 watt with a rotary. If you log onto http://www.sawmillcreek.org/ , and read their Laser forum, you will find some great info.

Thanks for the tip Mark, I'll check them out. Knowing how to play is helpful in building a guitar but not necessary. Give it a shot. There are some great kits out there with a lot of the hard stuff already done for you. Might be a good way to go the first time. Good Luck.

Thank you for the welcome!
I do paint on the back of the glass & most of the signs I sandwich in between two panes of glass.

Lovely woodworking. I'm liking the sea turtles!
