About Me:

I was born in Prague, now I live with my husband and three children in Jablonec n. Nisou. This beautiful secession town in mountains has old glass beads tradition. I studied book graphics and illustration in Secondary School, then conceptual arts at the Academy of Fine Arts, Theatre Anthropology and finally stage and puppet design at the Theatre Academy of Performing Arts. After my graduation my three children were subsequently born and I decided to make dolls, bags and work with textile. I project my main interests in my work – anthropology, preference for aesthetics of the 20's years, interest in other cultures, nature and mythology. I like using body typology as defined by Ayurveda. My favorite fabric is textil, I like using second hand textiles that retain the energetic traces of its previous owner.
