So, I have achieved one of my new year's resolutions and started a blog. After hours agonising I finally chose a name for it, then went through the rigmarole of designing the layout before landing on the tried and true white background.

I can't believe another year is over. Here's hoping for good things in 2008!
Anyway, I'm busy working away on my next bunch of illustrations, 'Inspired by Chinatown, NY'. I've recently developed a fascination with this area despite having only been there once as a kid. For any cybergeeks out there, I've been "walking" around with the help of the big G maps.
I just love the buildings and shop signs and all the little details. There's a story in everything.

So at the moment I desperately want a printer, that is a good one, so I don't have to keep waiting for my prints to come in and just to have the immediacy of being able try stuff out. I've been noticing a big difference between the prices here in the UK and over in the US. Me, jealous?
I know what I'd like as a Xmas gift, but I don't think I mean quite that much to anyone : ) Guess I'll settle with chocs.

Last few days have been feeling a bit manic working out this etsy stuff. Everyone has so much great stuff and I could spend hours just checking it all out. But alas, got to get on with my own stuff. Today I'm hoping to receive some more prints for my shop. Fingers crossed they're okay.
