I am a restless Taurean Australian who doesn't like being in one place for too long. I live with my husband and two small dogs in a caravan called Rosie.
In my caravan I write books on essential oils, herbs and natural healing. I also create freeform, knitted and felted handbags and essential oil blends but am open to try anything that Existence offers to me.
I've just added fish leather and fish scales to my stash!! We just visited a
wonderful, completely non-smelly factory that tans fish leather and scales.
The leather is mostly soft and very pliable but a few from the larger fish have slightly stiffer leather that could be used as a feature on the front of bags.
I came away loaded with leather, scales, fish writing paper (!) and lots of ideas for embellishments.
I've just uploaded pics and descriptions to my blog.

Thanks, I have read your blog and found it fascinating, I love the way you adapted hand felting I never knew you could do it by hand, although I have never felted, it's something I would like to try.
Just wanted to say hi, I'm one of the gals on the international freeform group on yahoo. I read your blog from time to time, and enjoy it very much. How great you and your husband can travel all over like that in such a lovely country. My hubby is a gypsy or so the family lore goes, but he doesn't like travelling and with all the cats, dogs and parrots we don't get to get up and go. I'm going to check out the hand felting turtorial on your blog.
