Word up

So, as regular readers will know, I didn’t exactly do very well with the Blogtoberfest challenge. I guess it was the inflexibility of having to update EVERY day (I have yet to investigate the scheduling posts thing) so once I missed a couple of days all momentum was lost.  It will therefore be a bit [...]

Eventastic

It may be the impending craftathon known as Christmas or just a coincidence but this weekend is packed full of great crafting events here in Glasgow. First up there is Made In The Shade’s return to the Lighthouse . Secondly there is Crafts for Scotland and Hobbycrafts at the SECC . Or, there is Say No To Plastic [...]

Newbee shop option

There’s no doubting that Etsy is the daddy of online options to buy and sell hand-crafted goods but recently Europe and the UK have presented us with a host of new options. The latest of these is My Ehive. I haven’t had much of a chance to give it a decent testing but on first glance [...]

Reuse not refuse

My frugalness has been the butt of many jokes in the past but thanks to the current credit crisis and using my craftiness to repurpose things I think I’m slowly but surely proving it’s no bad habit. My projects are small fry compared with those of other more experienced crafters but I’m still tempted to send [...]

Location:

About Me:
Miss Crafty is in her late 20s, armed with a creative mind and a healthy dose of cynicism. Slowly becoming ‘old before her time’ and indulging in long forgotten skills (baking, sewing, etc), she decided to build shescrafty.co.uk as a salute to those things which inspire her. At some point in the near future she hopes the site will also offer visitors the chance to order handcrafted items and to showcase the work of fellow indie crafters but for now she’s content to litter the internet with crafty gems and insights into her often warped mind.

Miss Crafty loves: music, milkshakes, fabric, gigs, hugs, letters, travel, beanbags, cake, swimming, sheep and good hair days.

Miss Crafty hates: spiders, lies, booking fees, hot days (celtic complexion you see), spicy food, sauce (of the edible kind!), umbrellas and wearing high heels.
